Towardist Terms of Service

Effective date: July 12, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Towardist (the “App”), operated by Claw Ventures LLC, a Maryland limited liability company (“Company,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Towardist is an AI-powered goal-coaching app. You create goals and milestones, log progress, and optionally upload supporting files (documents, images, audio). The App uses AI (via Anthropic’s Claude API and Groq’s transcription service) to generate a coaching “persona,” suggest milestones, and deliver periodic coaching prompts (“cues”) through push notifications, email, and — where enabled — SMS, plus an optional weekly recap email summarizing your activity.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Towardist. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

You’re responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
Upload content you don’t have the right to share, or that infringes another person’s rights.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App’s operation, security, or AI systems.
Use the App to generate, request, or store content that is abusive, harassing, or exploits another person.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

5. AI-Generated Content Is Not Professional Advice

Important: Towardist’s coaching personas, milestone suggestions, session cues, and any other AI-generated content are provided for general motivational and organizational purposes only. They are not professional, medical, mental-health, financial, legal, or other licensed advice, and are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional.

AI-generated content can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on it. If you’re dealing with a medical, financial, legal, or mental-health matter, consult an appropriately licensed professional — do not rely on Towardist for that purpose.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the goals, notes, and files you upload to Towardist (“Your Content”). By uploading Your Content, you grant us a limited license to use it solely to operate and improve the App for you — including sending relevant portions to our AI providers (Anthropic, Groq) to generate coaching content on your behalf. See our Privacy Policy for details on how Your Content is processed and retained.

You represent that you have the right to upload and share Your Content with us.

7. Account Termination

By you: you may delete your account at any time from within the App. See our Privacy Policy (Section 6) for what happens to your data on deletion.

By us: we may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the App or a feature. Where practical, we’ll provide notice.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLAW VENTURES LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP — INCLUDING ANY RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) $50 USD.

Some jurisdictions don’t allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not fully apply to you.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. We’ll update the effective date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice (e.g., an in-app notice or email). Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Maryland.
